Recruitment Type: National (2-year renewable contract)

Position/Responsibilities
Successful candidate will among other things perform the following:

    Prepare, process and package maize trials;
    Distribute trials to different locations within the country;
    Plant and collect data;
    Maintain trial field;
    Engage in seed production;
    Harvest Trials;
    Any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification, Experience and Skills
Qualification

    National Diploma (ND) in Crop Production, General Agriculture, Horticulture or related discipline from a reputable college/polytechnic with at least 3 years experience in a similar position.

Competencies:

    Basic knowledge of crop management operations
    Good time management and cropping skills.
    Ability to perform multiple tasks and work under pressure
    Team player.
