A  Nigeria based luxury goods company with diversified portfolio some of the world’s most prestigious and sought after high end luxury brands,  requires the services of a Chief Operating Officer (COO) who will oversees the company’s planned expansion programme across Nigeria and lead it through the growth and expansion phase.

Role & Description

    Develop and execute the sales strategy to support the company’s goals regarding revenue growth

    Build, manage and operate the company’s business operation nationally

    Support the retail and marketing operations division in the areas of financial management, human resources management, corporate communications, supply chain and logistics and other back office support operations to ensure maximization of revenue

    Spearhead all major strategic retail initiatives within the country to ensure effective planning, execution and ROI analysis

    Total P&L accountability and annual budget planning and implementation

    Working closely with the sales team to implement a storytelling brand strategy, through a renewed customer experience, which encompasses product, channel, sales, and customer service

    Provide strong functional leadership to the company work force

    Supports board of directors in formulating policies and projects and making policies recommendations

Desired Skills and Experience

    A good degree from a  reputable university  with at least 15 years of experience and a track record in senior management position

    Luxury retail portfolio experience 

    A natural ability to understand luxury consumers and the emotional and functional drivers that shape luxury brand perception

    Results driven with a proven record in delivering on challenging KPIs

    Ability to apply strong commercial skills to meet sales and cost budgets

    Strong leadership skills and ability to manage people across multiple locations
