The University of Lagos (UNILAG) will only admit about 7000 of the 17,935 candidates who passed it 2015 post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) test.
A statement issued the institution’s Deputy Registrar, Information, Olagoke Oke, had showed 17,935 of the 26, 732 of the candidates registered for examination passed and would be considered for admission in the 2015/2016 academic session.
“A total of 17,935 candidates passed the screening test with a minimum score of 40 per cent," Oke had said in the statement.
In the 2014/2015 session, less than 7000 of the 32,764 candidates who had applied for admission got into the institution.
